Mortified.  Day by day I watch purple veins pop to the surface of the inside of my left knee and spread down my calf like a spider web.  It looked awful.  I tried to ignore it, pretend it wasn’t there, but as the weeks of pregnancy passed by I realized this was something that was not going away…
